East Tsavo National Park

While in Kenya on the Moku Pahu, the First Assistant engineer arranged photo safaris for the crew in East Tsavo national park.

Before spending seven hours in the Park I had never imagined how many animals I would see and I never thought I would see so many elephants in my lifetime. I certainly didn't imagine that I would see a lion as close as I did. While it may seem hard to believe, all these pictures were taken from our little four person van. In total we identified 28 different species (only 15 of which can be seen here), and saw dozens of birds.

Most of the information on the animals given here is from the guide we hired for our safari, holes in the information were filled in from the AWF website.
